Steps to follow:

  1. Access the container management interface
Log on to the container management interface to access the list of available containers.

  2. Select child container (X'Locker, X'Sling)

    • Identify the X'Locker to be configured in the list of containers.

    • Click on “Modify container”.

  3. Configure card number (Kerong)

    • In the “Card number” field, enter the unique number you're assigning to the X'Locker on its Kerong card.
⚠️ Important: Each number must be unique within a sequence of containers. The parent container is always assigned number '0'.

    • Refer to this guide for indexing your X'Locker on the Kerong card:
      Indexing Guide

  4. Select parent container

    • Find and select the parent container (X'Tower or X'Smart) from the list.

    • This container will be associated with the X'Locker.

  5. Assign the X'Locker to the parent container
There are two methods to complete this step:

    • From the X'Locker:

      • In the container management options, click on “Edit this container” and then “Link a parent container”.

      • Enter or select the serial number of the X'Tower or X'Smart you wish to link as the parent container.

    • From the X'Tower:

      • In the container management options, click on “Modify this container” and then “Associate child containers”.

      • Enter or select the serial number of the X'Locker you wish to link as a child container.

  6. Configure the link

    • Once the assignment has been validated, proceed to configure the X'Locker.

    • Check that the link is correctly established to enable synchronization between the X'Locker and the X'Tower or X'Smart after data has been sent to the VTS.

  7. Connect the machines physically

    • Physically connect the X'Locker to the X'Tower or X'Smart.

    • Follow the technical instructions to ensure correct connection of cables and power supplies between the two devices.

Expected result:

Once the X'Locker has been assigned to its parent container and the machines correctly connected:

  • Synchronization is functional.

  • You can manage items stored in the X'Locker in coordination with the X'Tower or X'Smart.
