When using the STS, three distinct roles are used to manage user rights and permissions. Each role offers a specific level of control over the actions that can be carried out within the STS.
Owner: The highest role, offering full rights. The owner has the ability to create, modify and delete data or users within the STS.
Editor: This role allows certain data to be modified, although the actions authorised are limited. The editor does not have the same privileges as the owner. As an editor, it is not possible to modify products, articles, or container configurations.
Reader: The most restricted role. The reader only has access to view the data without being able to modify it.
All STS accounts must be associated with an STS licence in order to be activated. These licences are chargeable and can be managed directly from the Contract tab, then Licence Contract. It is important to check the availability of licences before creating new user accounts.
As a distributor, the reference for ordering licences is: ‘ACC-STS’.
As an end customer, it is up to the distributor to allocate a licence to you.
