If your monthly payment fails, Poppy Lease reserves the right to terminate your rental contract. We follow a clear, multi-step reminder process before taking final action.

Here is the timeline for payment attempts and reminders:
Day | Action taken | Details |
Day 0 | Invoice sent | The first day of your rental month. |
Day 2 & Day 4 | Automatic retries | We automatically attempt to debit the payment again. |
Day 5 | Free reminder | If payment still fails, we send a free reminder with a payment link for easy settlement. |
Day 19 | Formal reminder with fee | If payment is still outstanding, we send a formal reminder, adding an administrative fee of 8% of the unpaid amount. |

🛑 Can the vehicle be blocked?
Yes, in certain circumstances, we may block your vehicle as early as Day 5 if we detect unusual usage or unpaid balances that raise concern. Examples include:
Very high mileage.
Police or legal involvement.
Multiple unpaid invoices.
