To improve the completeness of your heating emissions calculations, we’ve introduced continent-level fallback data.
Previously, when conversion factors were unavailable for a specific country, we weren’t able to provide emissions values for that territory. With this update, we’ll now apply conversion factors at the continental level when country-specific factors are missing.
This update will apply to 2025 emissions using the following calculation methods:
Purchased heat emissions calculated using National Averages.
Work from Home emissions (within S3C7 Employee commute calculated using Organisational data).
If you’ve previously used these calculation methods for facilities in the following locations, you may see an increase in your 2025 emissions compared to previous years, as continental fallback data will now be applied:
Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba (BQ)
Hong Kong (HK)
Qatar (QA)
Sint Maarten (Dutch part) (SX)
Eswatini (SZ)
Trinidad and Tobago (TT)
