What is a Fallback Emissions Location?

A fallback emission location is an alternative location considered when the emission factor for a specific location is unavailable in our database. It serves as a coherent substitute location used for emissions estimation in the absence of data for the primary site.

You will see any fallback emissions location used in the emissions report you export from the Report emissions tab.
