Our new panel heaters, Gen3M and Gen4, are modular models with a replaceable control panel. The control panel is the brain of the heater and contains some of the key components for smart operation. This control panel can be replaced by the user if there's an issue with the heater related to these components.
How to replace the control panel:
Turn off the heater, unplug it, and remove it from the wall bracket.
Unscrew the 2 screws on the back of the control panel and set them aside.
Carefully lift the control panel upwards. Avoid pulling on the control panel cover, as it may break.
Insert the new control panel and press it into place.
Screw the screws back in on the rear side.
Place the heater back on the wall bracket, plug it in, and turn it on.
The heater is now not connected to the app. To connect it, open the "Mill Norway" app and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the home screen → New device → Select your product → Choose the correct generation → Follow the instructions carefully as shown in the app.
