To calibrate the heater, you can do this either via the app or directly on the heater:
In the Mill Norway app:
(applies to Socket, smart plug, panel heaters, floor-standing heaters, and oil heaters)
Open the app and go to Settings at the bottom right corner.
Tap Calibration.
Select the device you want to calibrate.
Enter the temperature from a separate temperature sensor placed centrally in the room.
HINT: Place a separate temperature sensor in a central location in the room, or hanging on the wall at chest/shoulder height, 24 hours before calibration. The temperature sensor needs time to provide an accurate reading. Do not place the separate temperature sensor directly above a heat source, as this will affect the measurement.
On the device itself:
Directly on the heater (Gen3):
Press the gear button twice.
Use the arrow buttons (+ or -) to set the actual temperature observed in the room.
Confirm with the gear button, or wait 5 seconds for automatic confirmation.
Directly on the heater (Gen3M and Gen4):
Press the gear button to enter the menu.
Use the + and - buttons until you see CAL on the display.
Press the gear button to activate calibration mode.
Use + or - to adjust to the actual room temperature.
Confirm with the gear button, or wait 10 seconds.
Alternatively, see the product user manual for instructions on how to calibrate the temperature, as different models may have different methods.
Note: Heaters with a mechanical thermostat cannot be calibrated.
