There is no light on my Wi-Fi socket. What do I do?

Updated this week

If you don’t see a light in the Wi-Fi socket, it is either because the socket has stopped working or the internal light has burned out. To be sure, we recommend the following steps:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Unplug the socket from the power outlet.

  2. Wait for 10 seconds.

  3. Plug it back in and check if the light turns on after a short time. Press the button and see if it starts blinking.

If this doesn’t work, try a reset.

Gen2 Socket Reset:

  • Unplug the socket from the power outlet and wait for about 30 seconds.

  • Plug the socket back into power.

  • Press and hold the button for 12 seconds. Then plug the socket out and in again from the outlet.

Gen3 Socket Reset:

  • Unplug the socket from the power outlet and wait for about 30 seconds.

  • Plug the socket back into the outlet.

  • Press and hold the button for 7 seconds. It should blink a few times and then turn off.

If this does not resolve the issue, the device is probably defect. Please return the device to the store where you purchased it and claim a warranty (up to 5 years). Remember to bring your receipt.
