What is a Mill Wi-Fi Socket?

Updated this week

The Mill Wi-Fi Socket is a smart plug that allows traditional heaters without Wi-Fi to be compatible with the Mill app. The Wi-Fi socket offers the same scheduling and timer functions as our Wi-Fi-enabled heaters. It can be used with devices up to 2300W.

NOTE: Should not be used with heaters that require supervision or with critical systems such as heating for waterpipes.

Mill Wi-Fi Socket 3 has a built-in temperature sensor, measures humidity, and tracks the power consumption of the socket. This information is available in the app. It will automatically measure the watt-effect of the connected dvice.

Mill Wi-Fi Socket (Gen 2) has a built-in temperature sensor. To get accurate statistics on power consumption, you need to manually enter the wattage of the heater connected to the Gen 2 socket.
