FAQ: Why do suppliers receive alerts on opportunities outside of their defined geographical area?

If buyers have not selected a specific location within a country when they announce a procurement, they are then identified within the next widest geographical area possible, which is the buyer’s country.

If the supplier is based in the same country then Mercell includes these opportunities in the alerts. The reasoning is that there remains a possibility the buyer is local to the supplier, or the supplier can provide a product/service nationwide.
