Why Temporary Passwords?
A temporary password is typically issued in the following situations:
There has been a transition or migration within our systems.
You have been added to the Mercell Tendering and Bidding platform by a colleague who is already registered.
Your account has been created, but you have not yet logged in and verified it.
Temporary passwords are sent when the account still requires initial login and verification.
What Should I Do Next?
You should have received an email titled ‘User account has been created’ containing your temporary password. This is a standard procedure when a user account is created on your behalf.
To ensure the security of your account and data, it's important to follow these steps:
Click the Login link in the email.
You will be redirected to the login page, where the temporary password is already pre-filled.
Click Login again.
You will be prompted to create a new password.
Review the password requirements shown at the bottom of the page.
Enter your New password and Confirm password.
Click Continue.
During your first login, you will also be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions before accessing the system.
If you have received a Reset Password email that also includes a system-generated password, this means it was requested for an already existing and verified user account.
