Self Service Password Management: How to Reset Your Password
This article provides instructions on how to reset your password if you have forgotten it.
Steps to Reset Your Password:
Open Your Browser:
Navigate to Microsoft Edge.
Go to the Portal:
Initiate Password Reset:
Enter User Information:
Verify Your Identity:
On the next screen, the self-service password management portal will ask how you would like to verify your identity:
Security Questions
Google Authenticator (This option will only appear if you have set it up with the self-service password management portal).
If you choose to answer your security questions that you selected when you registered on the self-service password management portal, proceed with answering them. These questions will not change unless you enroll new questions to override the old ones.
Select Account to Reset:
Complete the Reset:
Once done, the system will display one of two messages:
Successfully reset your account
Password does not meet the system requirements (New passwords must contain a minimum of 8 characters and include a capital letter, lowercase letter, and a number. For AS-400, the system will not accept two identical letters next to each other, or two numbers, or a special character).
