Fire

Updated this week

What to do in case of fire, smoke, or other emergencies?

Emergency steps

Stay calm and follow these steps:

  1. Warn others
Activate the fire alarm (if not already activated) and alert others in the building.

  2. Call 112
Report the fire or smoke immediately. Clearly state your address, floor (if applicable) and describe the situation.

  3. Leave the building
Use the emergency exits and follow the designated escape route.
Never use the lift. Close doors behind you to slow down the spread of fire and smoke.

  4. Go to a safe location
Move to a safe place or the designated assembly point outside the building and wait for instructions from emergency services.

Prevention and safety

  • Regularly check that smoke detectors and fire alarm systems are working.

  • Keep escape routes and emergency exits clear at all times.

  • Make sure you know where fire extinguishers are located and familiarize yourself with the building’s evacuation plan.
