What are the eligibility criteria for IG Markets CFD trading?
To open an IG Markets CFD account, you'll need to be a Singapore resident aged 18 and above, and meet the Customer Knowledge Assessment (CKA) requirements and minimum wealth requirements.
You can qualify for the CKA by passing the quiz, which assesses your knowledge of CFDs as a complex financial product. If you don't pass, you can complete the Contracts for Difference module on the CKA e-learning portal, provided by The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) and the Securities Association of Singapore (SAS). There's a quiz at the end — once you pass, download and send us your certificate of completion.
