What is the settlement period and when can I access my money after selling?

Settlement

Settlement is the process of transferring ownership of securities from the seller to the buyer and the corresponding payment from the buyer to the seller. The settlement period indicates how many business days after a trade is executed (T) that this transfer and payment must be completed.

Funds from a sale will only be available in your account after the settlement period is complete.
