United States | 30% |
Australia (ASX dividends) | 0% for fully franked dividends. 30% for unfranked dividends, reducible to 15% under Australia-Singapore tax treaty. |
Withholding tax rates may vary based on individual circumstances and international tax agreements. The rates provided are indicative only and subject to change. To find the reduced withholding tax rates available under U.S. tax treaties for your country, please refer to the IRS Tax Treaty Tables and Publication 901 here.
For ASX dividends, Australia's dividend imputation system means fully franked dividends are not subject to withholding tax; unfranked dividends are subject to withholding at Australia's default non-resident rate (30%), reduced to 15% for Singapore tax residents under the Australia-Singapore double tax agreement. Rates are indicative only; please refer to the ATO for current guidance here.

Order types and execution
Both market orders and limit orders are supported across all markets. We support Good-till-Cancelled (GTC) and Day limit orders.
GTC limit orders remain active until filled or manually cancelled by the customer.
Day orders expire at the end of the trading day if not filled.
All orders can be cancelled before execution.
Minimum and maximum order sizes
There is a minimum order size of S$1 across markets.
In the case of markets where lot sizes are mandatory, the minimum order size is 1 lot.
There is a maximum order size of S$200,000 across markets.
For Australia (ASX), order sizing works differently: minimum order size is 1 share for ASX 200 constituents and the top 50 ASX ETFs, or A$500 for other ASX instruments with no existing holding; there is no minimum once a holding is held.
FX conversion
When trading in international markets, your SGD will be converted to the required currency at the time of trade.
All proceeds from international trades are automatically converted back to SGD upon settlement.
FX rates are derived from interbank rates and updated in real-time during market hours. These are variable.
Dividends and corporate actions
Dividends are credited to your account after the applicable withholding tax (if applicable) has been deducted.
Cash dividends are paid in the currency of the market and automatically converted to SGD.
Customers will be notified of voluntary corporate actions and the available options.
For mandatory corporate actions (e.g., stock splits, mergers), adjustments will be made automatically.
Corporate actions may be posted to your account after the pay date due to processing delays.
For ASX dividends, fully franked dividends are not subject to withholding tax; unfranked dividends are withheld at 30%, reduced to 15% under the Australia-Singapore tax treaty (see withholding tax table above).
