With Helpling, it is important to us that you can manage your appointments easily and flexibly. Customize your regular booking to your needs – quickly, conveniently and always adaptable.

Would you like to adjust your active recurring order with your service provider? No problem! You can easily make the following changes, which will take effect from the next scheduled appointment:

  • Service day

  • Time

  • Duration of the appointment

  • Frequency (weekly or biweekly)

If you only want to adjust a single future appointment, please click here.

Adjust recurring booking:

Visit your customer profile and go to the "Home" section. Click on the order you want to edit. If you're using the Helpling app, tap on "Orders" in the navigation bar at the bottom and then select the recurring order you wish to modify.

Scroll down to the bottom and select "Reschedule".

You can then easily adjust the day, time, duration, or frequency of your recurring appointments. At the same time, you can check if your service provider is available at the newly selected time. Once you've made all the changes, review them in the next step and send them directly to your service provider.

We recommend discussing changes to the order with the service provider either directly on site or in advance using the message function.

Your service provider will then receive your request for the booking change and can either confirm or decline it. You will be notified by email as soon as your request has been processed.

If your service provider confirms the requested change, it will take effect from the next scheduled appointment.

Please note that when rescheduling a recurring booking, only weekly or bi-weekly frequencies are available. It is not possible to change a recurring booking to a one-time appointment or to another frequency. This is mainly because service providers typically charge a higher hourly rate for one-time appointments.

If you would like to change your service provider for your future recurring bookings, you can find out how to do so here.

Note: Since service providers for household-related services are self-employed, bookings on public holidays are also possible. Service providers are free to decide whether they accept and fulfill appointments on holidays. We recommend contacting your service provider to coordinate appointments on public holidays and, if necessary, reschedule them together.
