Everyone needs a break sometimes – for holidays, personal reasons, or just to recharge. In this article, we explain how you can take time off using the Helpling Partner App, what happens to your upcoming appointments, and what you should keep in mind to keep your clients informed.

Why should I add a break?

If you are going on holiday or are unavailable for personal reasons, it’s important to mark this as a break in your profile. This way, your customers will know in advance and there will be no confusion or missed appointments.

💡Tip: We recommend informing your customers personally before adding a break. A quick message or call helps your customers prepare and is always appreciated.

How can I set my availability?

Here’s how to add a break in the Helpling Partner App:

  1. Open the app and tap “More” in the bottom menu.

  2. Scroll down and select “My Availability”.

  3. Tap “Add Holiday”.

  4. Choose the first day and then the last day of your break.

  5. Tap “Select dates” to see which client bookings are affected.

  6. Tap “Confirm request” to save your break.

What happens after I add a break?

  • Your customers will be automatically informed about your break.

  • Affected appointments will be cancelled.

  • Customers will be offered a replacement cleaner, so the cleaning can still go ahead as planned.

Can I delete a break?

Yes, you can remove a break at any time:

  • Go back to “My Availability”.

  • Under “Add Holiday”, you’ll see a list of your breaks.

  • Tap the icon next to the break you want to delete.

Important: Appointments canceled due to the time-out are not automatically reactivated. If necessary, please contact the affected customers or our service team directly.
