My box arrived damaged. What should I do?

What to do if your Huel US box arrives damaged — which photos to take, how to submit them, and what to expect from the Huel team's investigation and resolution.

Written by Jamie Forbes

If your Huel box arrived damaged, here is exactly what to do to get it resolved quickly.

What photos Huel needs from your damaged box

To investigate your damaged Huel box with the carrier, please provide the following photos:

  1. A photo of the shipping label — Take a clear photo showing the shipping label on the outside of your damaged Huel box

  2. Photos of the outside of your damaged Huel box — Take photos showing all sides that show damage

  3. Photos of the inside of your damaged Huel box — Take photos showing the interior condition and any damaged Huel items inside

How quickly do I need to report a damaged box?

Please report a damaged Huel box within 14 days of your delivery date. This 14-day window allows Huel to raise a claim with our shipping carrier before their own claims deadline closes. Reports made after 14 days may take longer to resolve, since a carrier claim may no longer be possible.

Photos are not required for Huel to investigate a damaged box report — we will look into every report regardless. However, providing photos of your shipping label, box, and damaged items lets us raise a carrier claim immediately and typically resolves your case faster.

How to send your photos and order information to Huel

To help Huel investigate your damaged box, share the following through this chat:

  1. The photos of your damaged Huel box (shipping label, outside damage, inside damage)

  2. Your Huel order number (found in your order confirmation email or Huel account)

  3. A brief description of what was damaged (e.g., "containers were crushed," "boxes were wet")

What happens after you report your damaged Huel box

Once you have sent Huel your photos and order number, the Huel team will:

  • Review the photos of your damaged Huel box and order information

  • Investigate your damaged box with the carrier (FedEx, UPS, or USPS)

  • Determine the best solution — this may include replacement items, a full replacement, a voucher, or a combination

  • Contact you directly with the resolution for your damaged Huel order
