I didn't place an order - why was I charged?

If you have been charged by Huel but do not recognize the order, there are several common reasons to check. This article applies to customers in the United States.

Common reasons for an unrecognized Huel charge:

1. Subscription (recurring order) renewal

  • The most common reason is an active Huel subscription that has renewed automatically.

  • Check this in your Huel account under “My Subscriptions.”

2. Multiple Huel accounts

  • There may be more than one Huel account linked to different email addresses (for example: work and personal).

  • A subscription on another account may have been processed.

3. Shared Huel account access

  • Someone else with access to the Huel account may have placed the order.

4. Unauthorized activity (rare)

  • If none of the above apply, the charge may be due to unauthorized use of payment details.

5. Account restrictions

  • If a Huel account has been flagged for Terms & Conditions violations (for example: reselling), it may be restricted.

  • Existing subscriptions may still process charges before account closure.

What to do next:

  1. Log in to your Huel account and check for active subscriptions: https://www.huel.com/account/login

  2. Search email inboxes (including spam/junk folders) for Huel order confirmations.

  3. Gather relevant details such as order number or payment information.

  4. Share the issue with Huel support so the charge can be investigated and the account secured if needed.
