You can delete a Huel account at any time. There are two types of Huel account deletion, depending on whether you want a standard account closure or full personal data removal under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This article applies to customers in the United States.
Option 1: Delete a Huel account (standard request)
A standard Huel account deletion closes the account, but some data may be retained where required by law.
To request standard Huel account deletion:
Prepare the following information:
Full name
Email address linked to the Huel account
Contact Huel support and request account deletion.
Huel support will process the request and confirm once the Huel account has been deleted.
Option 2: Request full data removal (GDPR request)
A GDPR data deletion request removes personal data from Huel systems where legally permitted.
To request full GDPR data removal:
Prepare the following information:
Full name
Email address linked to the Huel account
Clearly state that you are requesting data deletion under GDPR.
Huel support will process the request in line with GDPR requirements.
Important information about deleting a Huel account:
Deleting a Huel account removes access to order history and subscription (recurring order) management.
If an active Huel subscription exists, cancel the subscription before requesting account deletion to prevent further charges.
GDPR data deletion requests cannot be reversed once completed.
