Create a shopping list using the Seed Planner

How to use the plants in your Seed Inventory to create a handy shopping list of seeds and plants you need to buy

Updated over a week ago

Once you've added your seeds to the Seed Inventory and placed those plants on your plan, this populates the Seed Planner. You can find the Seed Planner in the toolbar just above your plan.

The Seed Planner creates a shopping list for you by checking how many seeds you have in your Seed Inventory and calculating the number of packets of seeds you will need to buy, taking into consideration likely germination rates.

How to Edit the Seed Planner list

If your plan includes perennial plants that you don't need to buy, you can remove them from the Seed Planner list by clicking the Exclude Perennials button:

If there are any other seeds or plants that you don't want to appear on your Shopping List, uncheck the box next to the plant:

Make sure the correct product type (eg seeds or plants) is selected in the drop-down menu for each plant so it matches what's in your Seed Inventory:

Scroll down to the bottom of the list, then click Create List.

Shopping List - Create List button

Scroll down and click Done or, if you wish to print your Shopping List to take with you to the garden center, scroll down to the bottom of the list and click Print.
