Adding your own seed packet photos to your Seed Inventory

How to upload photos of your seed packet or plant information label to your Seed Inventory.

Updated over a week ago

You can add photos of the front and back of your own seed packets or the plant information label. This is useful to quickly refer back to so you never forget vital growing information about that plant.

Click on the Home tab at the top left of your Seed Inventory.

Seed Inventory - Home tab

Click the '+' button to the right of the default packet image.

Seed Inventory - add your own photo

Search for a photo on your device, or drag the file directly into the Select an Image box. If you need to crop the image to cut out any unnecessary background, check the crop box then drag the dotted line to the size you want. Click Save when finished.

Tips: Take a photo of your seed packets in portrait orientation to ensure they look their best in the Seed Inventory, and make sure not to crop out the expiry date!

How to choose a Key image for your seed packets

To choose the key (default) photo to be displayed as your seed packet, click the Edit button just above the thumbnail images.

Seed Inventory - edit your seed packet photos

Click on one of the green image icons to promote the image to Key Image, or click on the trash icon if you need to delete the image. Click the plus button if you want to add more images.
