How to choose a variety
Add a plant to your plan then double-click on it (or click once on it then click on the Edit Item button in your plan's toolbar) to open the Edit Plant box.
Click on the Varieties drop-down menu and select your variety.
Click Done to save your changes.
How to add a new variety
If the variety you need is not currently listed, you can open the Edit Plant box as above then add your own variety in the following way:
Click Add Variety and name your variety. Click Add.
If you want to change the default spacings and growing dates, click Customize Varieties.
Click Edit.
Check the Use Custom Spacings box and edit the spacings if necessary.
Check the Use Custom Times box and click on the calendars for the months or half-months that are appropriate for you growing this plant if necessary.
Click Save All Changes.
Click Done.
