Design and Customization
How do I change the size of my logo on the reporting page?
How do I change the size of my logo on the reporting page?
Go to Settings > Reporting Channels and select the channel you want to edit.
Click on Custom Design.
In the Logo section, find the Logo Size dropdown and choose from Default, Small, Medium, or Large.
Click Save to apply the changes.
If none of the size options achieve the look you want, it may be due to the amount of white space or padding in your original image file. Try cropping or adjusting the image before uploading.
Can I change the names of the Subject and Description fields in the form?
Can I change the names of the Subject and Description fields in the form?
Subject and Description are standard global elements. Because these fields are core to the platform's database structure, any changes to their titles will apply across all reporting channels in your organization.
If you need different field names for a specific channel, the recommended approach is to use custom elements instead:
Hide the standard fields on the channel where you need different terminology.
Go to the Form Builder and use the Custom Element feature to create new fields with the names you want.
Custom elements are unique to each channel, so changes will not affect other channels.
Can I have different pages for two different reporting channels?
Can I have different pages for two different reporting channels?
Yes. When you create a new reporting channel, the system automatically copies the page layout from your primary channel as a starting point. To make the new channel unique:
Go to Settings > Reporting Channels and create your second channel.
Within the channel configuration, click + Add Page to create a fresh blank page.
Customize the new page with the text, logo, or instructions specific to that channel.
Delete the page that was automatically copied from the main channel.
Save your changes.
This ensures that future edits to your main channel will not affect the new channel's page.
Can we change the subdomain or prefix of the reporting channel link
Can we change the subdomain or prefix of the reporting channel link
The subdomain and prefix of the reporting link (e.g. whistleblowersoftware.com/secure/) are fixed and cannot be changed due to security and SSL requirements.
However, you can customize the suffix (the last part of the link) to match your organization or use case. See here how to do this.
Sharing and Access
How do I share the reporting link?
How do I share the reporting link?
The URL in your reporting channel settings is the official link to share with employees or stakeholders. There are two ways to make it accessible:
Direct link: Share the URL via your company website, intranet, or internal policy documents. When clicked, it takes the reporter directly to the secure reporting page.
QR code: The system can generate a unique QR code for the channel, which is useful for printed posters in common areas, employee handbooks, or company ID cards.
Both options can be found and configured within Settings > Reporting Channels.
Why does my reporting link give an error when opened?
Why does my reporting link give an error when opened?
The reporting channel URL only supports standard letters, numbers, underscores ( _ ), and hyphens ( - ). The error is caused by special characters in the link.
To fix this:
Go to Settings > Reporting Channels.
Find the Link Suffix field and remove any accented letters (such as á, é, í) or symbols (such as %).
Replace them with plain letters or numbers.
Save the change and share the updated link.
Note: If you have already shared the old link, make sure to update it on your website or internal documents with the new version.
