Understanding User Roles: Strategic Access Control
Eturnity provides three distinct user roles that allow you to control access to projects, component library management, and company settings. This role-based system enables you to maintain data security while ensuring each team member has the appropriate access level for their responsibilities.
Business Impact: Proper role assignment reduces the risk of accidental data changes, streamlines workflows by showing only relevant information, and ensures sensitive pricing data is protected while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Insight: The main difference between Project Manager and User roles is project visibility scope. Project Managers see all company projects while Users only see their assigned projects. Both roles have identical access to design tools and quote generation, but Users cannot see component pricing information.
Security Note: Limit Administrator roles to essential personnel only. Most team members should be assigned Project Manager or User roles to maintain data security and prevent accidental system changes.
