API and Webhook Integrations

Discover Eturnity’s open API and webhooks for seamless system integration, automated project data, smoother workflows, and no manual entry.

Eturnity's Open API and Webhook Solutions

At Eturnity, we provide an open API for all of our products, offering smooth integration of your systems with our solar solutions. We support bidirectional data exchange:

  • Outgoing data (Webhooks): We automatically send comprehensive project data to your systems when specific events occur

  • Incoming data (API): Your systems can send data to Eturnity and manage projects, components, and customers programmatically

This enables complete workflow automation and eliminates manual data entry between systems.

Our webhook system delivers complete project information including:

  • Client details - Customer information and contact data

  • PV system data - System size, technical specifications, and performance metrics

  • Cost information - Pricing details, profitability calculations, and financial analysis

  • Project specifications - Component lists, installation details, and system configurations

  • Additional elements - Documents, proposals, and project milestones

Webhooks - Outgoing Data from Eturnity

Webhooks automatically send data from Eturnity to your systems when specific events occur. These are triggers that activate when certain actions happen in Eturnity, enabling real-time notifications and data synchronization.

Webhook Technical Documentation and Sample Payloads

For detailed technical information, including sample payloads that show all the data elements we can provide, please visit our comprehensive webhook documentation:

Tip: After opening the link, use the navigation on the left side to access documentation for your specific Eturnity product and to find the latest webhook version.

This documentation includes:

  • Complete sample payloads showing all available data fields

  • Data structure specifications for client details, PV system data, and costs

  • Authentication requirements and security protocols

  • Integration examples and best practices

Data Triggers by Eturnity Product

Depending on the Eturnity product you are using, data triggers may vary:

Eturnity Expert

In Eturnity Expert, webhooks are triggered when the following events occur:

  • New project creation – When a new project is created

  • Project status or marker updates – When a project's status changes or custom milestone markers are updated

  • Project manager assignment changes – When the assigned project manager is changed

  • Document creation – When documents are created

  • Document signing completion – When a document is marked as signed

Eturnity Calculators

For Solar Calculator, Configurator, and Heating Calculator, webhooks are triggered when:

  • Solar calculation form submission – When a user completes and submits a solar calculation request

  • Configurator form submission – When a user completes and submits a system configuration request

  • Heating calculation form submission – When a user completes and submits a heating calculation request

Webhook Integration Options

We offer two main approaches to receive webhook data from Eturnity:

Option 1: Direct Integration

For direct integration, you provide your own technical infrastructure to receive our webhook data:

  • Custom endpoint setup - You provide the endpoint URL where we send the payload

  • Data processing - The management and processing of the data on your infrastructure are your responsibility

  • Flexible triggers - You specify which events should trigger webhook notifications

  • Full control - Complete customization of how data is handled and processed

Important: We provide the code corresponding to the payload. The management and processing of the data on your infrastructure are your responsibility.

Option 2: Integration via Zapier

Zapier is a no-code automation platform that acts as a bridge between Eturnity and thousands of other business applications. Instead of building custom technical endpoints, Zapier provides a user-friendly interface to connect systems and automate workflows.

Why Choose Zapier Integration:

  • No programming required - Set up integrations through a visual interface without coding

  • No infrastructure needed - Zapier handles all the technical endpoint management for you

  • Ready-made connections - Pre-built integrations to popular CRM, email marketing, and business tools

  • Visual workflow builder - Drag-and-drop interface to create automation rules

  • Instant activation - Get started in minutes instead of weeks of development

What Zapier Does for You:

Instead of your IT team building custom webhook receivers, Zapier:

  • Receives webhook data from Eturnity automatically

  • Processes and formats the data according to your rules

  • Sends the data to your chosen applications (CRM, email tools, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • Manages all technical aspects like authentication, error handling, and retries

You can find a full list of supported applications here: Zapier Apps & Integrations

API - Managing Eturnity Data from External Systems

In addition to receiving data from Eturnity via webhooks, you can also send data to Eturnity and manage projects externally using our comprehensive API.

The Eturnity API enables seamless management of your projects, components, and other resources within the Eturnity ecosystem using standard HTTP requests.

API Documentation and Access

To explore different API versions, use the dropdown menu located in the navigation on top of our API documentation.

The API is now accessible via our new backend URL: https://api.eturnity.io/doc/

What You Can Do with the API

  • Create and update projects - Programmatically manage project data from your systems

  • Manage components - Update existing component information (adding or deleting components is not possible)

  • Customer management - Synchronize customer data between systems

  • Bidirectional integration - Combine API calls with webhook notifications for complete synchronization
