Resident History
Resident Care Hours Trend + Resident Care Cost
This chart shows how a resident’s care requirements change over time, based on the breakdown of Skilled Hours and Carer Hours derived from their assessed needs. By presenting this information as a timeline, it clearly illustrates increases or decreases in care intensity as a resident’s condition, dependency, or support requirements evolve.
This view helps care teams and managers:
Monitor how a resident’s needs develop over time
Identify significant changes that may require reassessment or care plan updates
Provide evidence of increasing or decreasing care complexity
Support continuity of care by visualising long-term trends
When viewed alongside the Resident Care Cost chart, this information provides important context for understanding why the cost of care has changed. Increases or decreases in cost can be clearly linked back to changes in required care hours and skill mix, helping to explain and validate cost variations over time.
