Business Partner Explorer (BP Explorer) is designed to enable partners registered to Cofinity-X network to share their sites and their related addresses. Sharing this information is key to unlock the full potential of many use cases within the supply chain (e.g. Demand & Capacity Management, Product Carbon Footprint, Traceability, Supply Chain Mapping, etc.). The BP Explorer comprises two main components: Data provisioning and Data consumption.
BP Explorer offers a secure environment, in which participants can share site and address data, adding value to customers in many ways:
Swarm Intelligence: Self-organized data pool where data is uploaded by the customers themselves.
High data quality: Single source of truth where data is uploaded directly by the data owners and curated & enriched by Cofinity-X.
Data sharing efficiency: Reduced customer effort to maintain site and address information.
Secure data exchange: Data is shared in a secure environment where it is accessible only by participants of Cofinity-X network.
BPExplorer does not ensure the access to the complete Catena-X pool, but only to BPNL,BPNA and BPNS numbers associated with legal entities that are onboarded as Catena-X members.
