Contingency (Offline) Mode on the device

If the device cannot synchronise, you will see an error screen.

The message may show App Error, Network Error, or Server Error—all three prevent normal login.

You will see three options above the error message.
To continue working offline, select Continue.

Pressing ‘Continue’ instead of return or return to menu will have the device attempt to log in with local data and will attempt to skip the synchronisation.
If offline mode works, the device will still log into the unit even without an internet connection.

When You Cannot Use Offline Mode

If the screen shows a message saying the device was not last used on this unit, the device cannot log into that unit without a successful sync.

To access the unit:

  • You must use a device that was last logged into that same unit.

This is because each device only stores data for one unit at a time, not the entire home.

Important Safety Information

  • The device will not know about any medication changes or administrations made on other devices since its last successful sync.

  • Only one device should be used in offline mode as the devices are unable to communicate with each other.

  • If one device cannot synchronise, do not switch to another device on the same unit.

  • Using multiple unsynchronised devices on the same unit can cause conflicting records and may lead to a medication error.

Using Paper MAR Charts

Paper MAR charts should always be used only as a last resort.

If you need to print paper MAR charts from Atlas Central (Run Reports):

  1. Set the start date to 7 days earlier.

  2. This ensures you have:

    • A full record of the last 7 days of administration (including weekly medicines)

    • All required timeslots clearly shown
