The Care Home are able to amend patients room numbers, and generally it is best practice to encourage the Care Home to amend their patients details from the Atlas PCS device.
However there may be occasions where you are requested to change these details on behalf of the home or complete a bulk room number change if the care home have a move around.
1. View the patient record by pressing F9 or by viewing the Care Home dashboard.
2. Select actions located on the patient personal tab and click change room no.
3. Complete all requested information on the RFC Patient Wizard screen, click next and enter the new room number and click finish.
The room number will now be amended on the CAPA Lite system and the home will need to synchronise the device for the change to download.
