How to Print Resident Name Labels

During the administration process at the home, the users will scan the residents name label on the medication trolley to ensure they are administering the correct resident the correct medication. These are usually supplied during with the homes first medication cycle supplied by the pharmacy, but can be produced on request via CAPA.

Resident name labels can be produced per unit or from an individuals profile. To generate a name label for a whole unit follow this process;

1.Select F3 on your keyboard and to view the Care Home list then double click the relevant Care Home to view the Care Home Dashboard.

2. From the Care home dashboard ,select the drop down list to view the Care Home units. Select the unit you wish to produce labels for (Note; If the Care Home has multiple units this process will need to be repeated for each unit).

3. Once the unit has been selected, click patient activity list at the bottom of the care home dashboard.

4. Highlight all of the resident names displayed on the list, then select print PCS labels located on the right hand side of the screen. The labels will then be produced from the label printer.

To generate a label for a individual resident follow this process;

1.SelectF9 on your keyboard and search for the resident you wish to produce the name label for.

2.Double click on the residents name to view the profile.

2. From the personal tab in the residents profile, click the name label button to produce the label.
