During the Patient Name part of data entry, you may be unable to locate the patient.
This could be because the patient is new and needs to be registered to the Care Home, or the name on CAPA & Atlas PCS differs to the GP system.
The process for this scenario is:
1. Press F9 to access the Search Patient screen
2. Search for the patient again, this time you can use alternative search criteria including Date Of Birth.
3. If you cannot locate the patient and the Care Home confirm the patient is new, click the Add button at the bottom of the Search Patient screen, to load the Add Patient Wizard

4. Add the new Patient and click Finish, and then close the Search Patient screen
You can then complete the Patient Name Data Entry process
