During the dispensing process entry errors may be identified which will result in a change to the prescription and dispense record being made.

The process for this scenario is:

1. From the patient batch, right click the item and select destroy label and reset to pending. A box will appear on screen scan the incorrect dispensing label to destroy and discard of the physical label.

2. To amend the dosage, right click the item and view dispense item. Select the arrow next to the dosage to change it. This will generate a check, complete the check and the dosage text will shortly change to display the amended details. Once the dosage texted has changed proceed with the normal dispensing process.

The repeat med record and the prescription should also be amended from the change made however it is best practice to double check both.

Note: If this box is greyed out then the item has been packaged and will need to be un-packaged to be amended. For more information https://capa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001597179-FAQ-How-do-I-remove-an-item-from-a-package-
