With Atlas eMAR you do not need to sign your name every time you administer a medication, book a medication in or managed stock. You are required to log on to the Atlas eMAR system before you begin your round and after that every medication administered is automatically assigned to you. This reduces the amount of time needed to complete the round and stops you from having to repeatedly enter your details in order to give medication to your residents.
In order log in to the eMAR system you must create an individual account with a secure PIN. Your home manager will be require to invite you to join the relevant organisation - For more information on creating an account please click the following link Inviting Users To Your Organisation
To log in, follow these simple steps:
Press the on button on the top right- hand corner of the device if the device has been switched off. If the device has been used recently and has gone into sleep mode, touch anywhere on the screen to begin.
This should bring up the unit of the home that you are in and a list of user-names. Select your name from the list and enter your unique pin number, followed by done or log in. If you enter the incorrect pin number, select the back button and re-select your name from the list. Try entering your pin number again.
If you have forgotten your pin number, please select the 'forgot pin' option on the Atlas eMAR and enter a new PIN, this will need to be witnessed by another user.
Tips
Never log in as another user if you cannot access your own username. If your name is not being displayed on the list of users please speak with your management and ask them to review your account details. If your contract end date has been met this will require adjusting to a future date to reinstate your access.
Do not share your PIN with anyone.
If you forget your PIN your able to reset it via the device (with the witness of another active staff member) or go to www.atlascentral.com and follow the reset PIN option.
