This article explains how to add a video to your website using website customisation features. Adding a video can enhance your website by providing a visual representation of your property, offering virtual tours, or sharing promotional content. Users will need to upload their videos to YouTube before embedding them on the website.
Before you start:
Amenitiz does not have the ability to store videos directly on our servers. In order to post a video you will, therefore, have to upload it on Youtube first. Then, you can simply insert the Youtube link in the box provided for this purpose.
Step-by-step instructions
Access the Website Customisation
Navigate to Website → Customize to open the website editor.
If the video is not for the homepage, go to Pages and select the correct page.
How to Add a Video Block
Scroll through the left menu and click Add an element.
Select a Video block.
Insert the YouTube Link
In the Settings section, adjust the video size if necessary.
In the Content section, add a title and paste your YouTube video URL.
Save Your Changes
Click Save to store your changes on the website.
How to put a video on the cover of your website
In the left sidebar, select the block named Cover.
A sidebar will open showing all settings related to the cover.In the Cover Type dropdown, choose Video.
Paste the full URL of your YouTube video.
Click Save to apply the new cover settings.
💡Tip
To add a slideshow instead of a video on your website cover choose Slider in the Cover Type dropdown. Then add or edit your slides. Use the available image options to upload, choose from your library, or modify the existing slides (following the same process as any slider block).
