This article explains how to access and understand the INSEE Report for properties located in France. It matters for hoteliers as it provides valuable insights into occupancy trends and guest demographics, helping with operational and marketing strategies. Hoteliers need this information when analysing monthly data on room occupancy and guest demographics by nationality.


Step-by-step instructions

  1. Navigate to Reports in your admin space menu.

    • Click on the Reports subsection.

  2. Scroll down to find the INSEE Report in the list.

    • Tick the box to select the INSEE Report.

  3. A pop-up will appear after selection.

    • Click on Next in the pop-up.

  4. Choose the email address to receive the report.

  5. Select the desired dates for the report.

  6. Click on Send reports.

    • The report will be sent to the specified email.

💡 Tip

Ensure you have set the correct dates to receive the accurate report data.

Expected result: You will receive an email with the INSEE Report, which contains the number of occupied rooms per day, the number of arrivals per nationality, and the number of nights per nationality.


Note

The INSEE Report is unavailable — Ensure your property's country is set to France under Property → General.

⚠️ Warning

Incorrect data in the INSEE Report — Verify that the nationality field is completed for all guest bookings in your client files.

Limitation: The report is exclusively for properties based in France.
