When you set up your account with Affilizz, we ask you to add tracking IDs (tags) to your Amazon account so that it can track your performance, but why?
Because Amazon only works in a unique way with publishers, Affilizz requires a specific configuration to be linked to your Amazon program in order to track your performance via Amazon. To do this, we need you to allow us to create tracking IDs with your account.
When you publish affiliate content from Amazon on your channels (blog, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc..), we will automatically generate a random tracking ID and add it to each piece of Amazon affiliate content published which will allow us to accurately offer you precise tracking.
By performing a rotation of tracking IDs, we can reconcile with each publication the number of clicks and transactions which take place and deliver precise reports of your performance.
It is essential to create as many tracking IDs as possible to accurately identify and monitor the performance of affiliated content. We recommend that you request the addition of at least 30 tags during configuration.
⚠️ Amazon allows you to create as many tracking IDs (tags) as you want. However, we limit the creation to a maximum of 100 tracking IDs at a time. If you wish to add more, you will need to proceed with multiple successive additions. Once the tracking IDs are created, the operation is irreversible.
What does a tracking IDs created by Affilizz look like?
Affilizz uses the prefix you want (by default your Master Tag) and increments it with this character string "-azz-XX" in which XX corresponds to the number of tracking IDs.
Example :
If your Master Tag is: MyMasterTag-uu23 , Affilizz will create:
MyMasterTag -azz-XX -uu23
If you chose to create 50 tags, this will result in a sequence ranging from:
MyMasterTag-azz-01-uu23 to MyMasterTag-azz-50-uu23
