Add my Amazon Program

Your guide to adding an Amazon program in Affilizz.

Written by Simon Ducoulombier

First of all, if you don't already have one, create an Amazon Associates Center account. Please note that Amazon has tightened its entry requirements: your partner/creator account will only be fully approved after completing ~10 valid affiliate transactions with this account over a 30-day period.

Follow the steps in Affilizz until we ask you to add Affilizz as an account manager in Amazon.

To add Affilizz as an account manager:

  • On your Amazon Associate account, go to your account settings by clicking on the navigation menu then 'Account > Account settings' (see screenshots below)

  • On your account; find in the menu the link for "Manage Account Users" (see screenshot below)

  • Once in the user management section, go to the "Add Users" tab and enter the following Affilizz email account with the "Report Access" rights (see screenshots below):

    - affiliation@affilizz.com

Then, click "Send" to finish adding an handler.

Where can I find my Amazon Associates Store ID to add it to Affilizz?

  • To continue, you must enter the "Store ID" of your Amazon account in Affilizz.

To ensure you find the Store ID of your Amazon Associate account, go to Menu > Account > Account settings then Manage Account Users..., then open the "Add Users" tab.

Your Store ID appears in the sentence as shown in the screenshot below:

Determine the tracking IDs that Affilizz will add to your Amazon account

In the next step of our guide, you must choose the number of tracking IDs you are going to allow Affilizz to create on your Amazon account so that we can track your account accurately.

💡 Affilizz needs to create tracking IDs on your account in order to be able to track the performance made by this program. Affilizz will rotate these tags and attach them to each affiliate content in your publications to be able to track all events. We recommand to start with 5 tracking IDs.

⚠️ Amazon only categorizes sales by Tracking ID once a minimum of 4 conversions has been reached for that ID. Below this threshold, conversions are grouped into the "Other" category, making performance analysis more difficult. We therefore recommend limiting the number of Tracking IDs you create to maintain accurate and actionable reporting.

Change your Tracking IDs prefix (optional)

Affilizz offers you to use a different prefix (by default, we are using your Store ID prefix) for the tracking IDs that we are going to create. The prefix corresponds to the part before the hyphen "-" of your Store ID. For example :

MyStoreID-21 > MyStoreID matches your prefix

ℹ️ Using a different prefix does not change your Store ID , only those used by Affilizz.
⚠️ Do not use Affilizz word into your tracking IDs

What does a tracking ID created by Affilizz look like?

Affilizz uses the prefix you want (default is your store ID) and increments it with this character string "-azz-XX" in which XX corresponds to the number of tracking IDs.

Example :

If your Store ID is: MyStoreID-21 , Affilizz will create:

MyStoreID-azz-XX-21

If you chose to create 5 tags, this will result in a sequence ranging from:

MyStoreID-azz-01-21 to MyStoreID-azz-05-21

Complete the configuration on Affilizz

Press the "Finish" button to complete adding the program.

A validation time is necessary, the access will be in "In progress" status for a short period.

As soon as access is confirmed, you can create Amazon affiliate content and track your overall performance in Affilizz. 👏
