With these updates we are also pleased to announce the release of our user management aiming to make it easier for you as a supplier to get a more clear overview of your team, and strengthen the control over your own project team.

We call this initiative SPS and it stands for Supplier Premium Services.

Supplier Premium Services (SPS) is an advanced tool specifically designed to simplify and streamline bid management for suppliers. With SPS, you can improve your company’s working methods and reduce risks and at the same time gain better control over your bids. SPS is the future of tender management, with features that ensure your bids are managed more efficiently. 

Our goal is to make your working day easier, safer and more productive. With SPS, you can say goodbye to manual and outdated methods and instead embrace a more efficient, organized and secure tender management.

Many of you may have noticed this new banner on the Supplier Portal page. This banner indicates that your company has more than one user with Tender owner role and it is exceeding the 'Freemium' subscription level.
By clicking the banner, you will get to the page where the subscription can be updated to Premium, Enterprise or Custom by contacting sales to discuss the best subscription options for your company.

Let's break it down

User Management
The user management feature enhances security, accountability, and transparency within your company's account. It aims to support company administrators to assemble their project team. This is the place where managers, team leaders, or other roles of authority assign the different roles for your bid team.

What is an Administrator?
A company administrator is the person responsible for assembling the company's bid team by delegating suitable roles through the User Management tool to the different people in your team. In short, this role helps team leaders and managers get an overview of the project team. A company administrator can view all current bids and tenders, but not submit them. This is exclusive for the Tender Owner role. A administrator can among other this things also:

• Access all basic user privileges.
• Access to the organisation’s lists of bids.
• Ability to change bid responsibilities and view tender PDF.

What other roles can the Administrator assign?

Tender owner
The Tender owner role can be assigned by the administrator and aims to target the one responsible for submitting bids at the company. The Tender owner can among other things:

• Edit and submit bids.
• Manage questions, invitations and ESPD eligibility requests.
• View submitted bids and receive related messages.
• Participate in active auctions.
• Manage your companies ESPD profile.

Basic user
A basic user is a user that still has not been assigned a specific role. As a default, the basic user function has the ability to among other things:

• Ability to search and view call for tenders.
• Access to view call for bids details: Tender summaries, publications documents and any questions and answers (Q&A).
• Option to download the call for tender documents.

Tender approver
Tender approver role is assigned by the administrator and can:

• Access all the basic user privileges.
• Preview bid pdf’s before submission to quality assure the delivery.

Contract manager
Contract manager role is assigned by the administrator and can among other things:

• Access all basic user privileges.
• Access to the organisation's contract list.
• Perform contract reporting tasks.
• Handle requests from Mercell Cloudia Supplier management.
