We’re excited to announce the release of a range of new datasets and functionality in Your Local Net Zero Hub.
Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES). UK Power Networks’ have published their latest Distribution Future Energy Scenarios. These are available to explore here and in Your Local Net Zero Hub in the main map. These four scenarios predict uptake different technologies between now and 2050. Want to know more about DFES? Influence DFES by Sharing Plans with your Network Operator. You could already choose to share a project with your Network Operator after running an assessment of a Project. Now you can also share Scenarios to give your Network Operator even more visibility of your decarbonisation pathways.
Why Share? UK Power Networks have updated their guidance on how any plans you choose to share will be used. Check out the updated ‘Our Forecasts and Your Plans’ page.
Forecast Network Headroom. You can already access a detailed picture of current network headroom on Your Local Net Zero Hub. Now you can also access UK Power Networks’ ‘Forecast Headroom Report’. This is available in Map>Data Explorer>Utility Networks>Forecast Headroom Report and in Map>DFES>Primary Substation Supply Areas.
2021 Census Data. Some datasets have been updated with the 2021 Census, including the Lower Level Super Output Area (LSOA) and Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA) boundaries.
Data Stories. You can now add multiple choice and ranking questions to your Data Stories, making it easier than ever to consult stakeholders. Even better, Data Story creators and those with the new permission group ‘View Responses’ can now export a complete Excel of all viewer responses to their Data Story.
Delete Uploaded Datasets. If you use our upload functionality, you might have uploaded some datasets that you don’t need anymore. We’ve enabled deletion on user uploaded datasets. Just navigate to the Local Data folder on the map and click on the trash icon to delete. Note, users will only see the delete option on datasets for which they have edit permissions.
