You can send a tip in multiple ways:
QR Code: Scan the recipientās QR code to access their tipping page.
6-Digit Member Code: Go to tip.urocked.com and enter the recipientās unique 6-digit number.
URocked Devices: For OneDevice and QuickTips, the device screen will prompt you automatically to leave a tip for a fast, contactless experience.
š How Will Someone Know Iāve Tipped Them?
The recipient receives an instant notification as soon as you tip.
Tips appear immediately in their digital wallet in the URocked app.
For team accounts, all team members are notified and can see the tip added to the team pot.
Recipients can also review their tipping history for full transparency.
š· Why Do I Have to Pay a Fee to Send a Tip?
URocked ensures that recipients always receive 100% of the intended tip. To facilitate secure transactions, a small service fee applies:
Tips Ā£/ā¬1.00 or below: Ā£/ā¬0.25 fee
Tips above Ā£/ā¬1.00: Ā£/ā¬0.25 + 5% of the tip value
⨠Bonus: A portion of every service fee is donated to hunger and poverty relief charities, helping those in need alongside the recipient.
ā Can I Send a Tip Without Scanning a QR Code?
Yes! Every URocked member has:
A unique QR code
A 6-digit member code
If scanning isnāt possible, simply visit tip.urocked.com and enter their 6-digit code to access their tipping page.
For OneDevice and QuickTips, tipping is even easierādevices display QR codes automatically, allowing fast tips using the pre-set member or team codes.
š What Happens to My Payment Details?
Your payment information is never stored by URocked.
Transactions are securely processed by a trusted payment acquirer.
URocked does not collect or retain any card details.
All transactions meet PCI DSS regulations, ensuring top-level security for your financial data.
