Our QR code technology is one of many ways you can tip an individual or a team. Our QR codes take you through our web checkout process, where it takes less than a minute to send a tip via your chosen payment method. Quick, simple and secure!
Step 1: Scan the QR of the person or team you'd like to tip - you'll land directly on their tipping page. Select the amount you wish to tip or enter your own custom amount, you'll see the processing fee is automatically populated once you enter a tip value.
Press 'Continue':
Step 2: You'll see the tip summary page. This shows you the total transaction value, tip amount + service fee. Enter your name and email address here, we need this in order to send you your transaction receipt. Then press 'Continue to payment':
Step 3: Enter your chosen payment details. This can either be your debit or credit card details, or you can choose to pay via Apple or Google pay. Once you've entered your chosen payment details, our 3rd party payment processor will process the transaction. URocked do not capture, process or retain any card details or payment information, other than if the transaction was successful or not:
Step 4: Once your payment has been successfully processed, you'll see the tip confirmation screen.
Your tip has been sent! You'll receive a receipt to your email and the person you tipped will receive a notification on their phone. They will be able to see the tip straight away in the app.
