Detail

Most Huel packaging

Yes

Around 85% by volume is recyclable

Pouches

Not currently

Pouches are not yet recyclable β€” but are lightweight, meaning they make up a smaller share of total packaging volume

Why Aren't Pouches Recyclable Yet?

Flexible pouches are made from multi-layer materials that are difficult to recycle through standard household recycling streams. However, their lightweight design means they have a relatively lower environmental impact per unit compared to heavier packaging formats β€” even before recyclability is considered.

What Huel Is Doing

Huel is actively exploring new packaging materials and technologies as part of its sustainability roadmap for 2025 and beyond β€” with the goal of making Huel's packaging even more sustainable over time.
