Why is my card being declined?

Card declined at checkout? Common causes: insufficient funds, expired card, billing address mismatch, or bank security block. Step-by-step troubleshooting guide.

Written by Jamie Forbes

If your card is being declined on a Huel EU order, it's usually one of these reasons:

1. Insufficient funds

Check your account has enough to cover the transaction, including any pending charges.

2. Incorrect or expired card details

Double-check your card number, expiry date, and CVV. If your card has expired, update your payment method in your Huel account.

3. Billing address mismatch

Make sure the billing address on your Huel account matches exactly what's registered with your bank.

4. Bank security block

Banks sometimes block unfamiliar or recurring payments. Contact your bank directly to approve the Huel transaction.

5. Try an alternative payment method

If issues persist, try PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay via your account settings.
