How to set up an integration for automatic file downloads

Tachogram supports seamless integrations to automate your file uploads. This makes file management easier and removes the need to upload files manually.

✅ This content is intended for Company accounts' admin and manager users.

API integration

  1. Head to 'Settings' → 'Integrations'

  2. Open 'API Keys'

  3. Press the button 'Create API key'

  4. Give API key a name and press 'Create key'

  5. Copy/paste the generated key into your telematics system and configure the integration

E-mail integration

  1. Go to 'Settings' → 'Integrations'

  2. Open 'E-mail integrations'

  3. Press 'Generate'

  4. Copy the e-mail details by clicking 'Copy to clipboard'

  5. Enter this generated Tachogram email into your telematics system to complete the setup. This address also works as a quick upload tool: just attach your tachograph files to an email and send them straight to the platform

FTP file upload

  1. Navigate to 'Settings' → 'Integrations'

  2. Open 'FTP file upload'

  3. Give the connection a name and click 'Save Changes'

  4. Tachogram will provide you a username and password for connecting to a server and enabling the integration

  5. Save your details—they will not be available after you leave the page—and press 'Back to integrations'

🔔 This integration only supports file uploads up to 50 MB at once.
