Obtain Volvo API credentials
To integrate our platform with Volvo, you will first have to obtain credentials from their platform:
Log into Volvo's platform, here.
Go to the API Manager.
Click on "+ Add API Account" on the left side.
Enter a new API Account name.
Scroll down and select what vehicle data you want to retrieve, by using the toggle controls.
Then, select the vehicles in your fleet that need to be included in this API account.
Click the "Add account" button.
The username and password will be automatically generated and displayed under "User Details" for the new API account.
Copy the Username and Password.
Activate integration
After obtaining your credentials as described above:
Go to our platform and then go to
Settings ➔ Integrations.
Click on the 'Volvo Integration'.
Click on the'Activate Integration' button.
Paste the User details (Username and Password) obtained previously.
Click Activate.
This will establish the connection between our platforms and you can start retrieving your fleet's data.
