Scania integration

Obtain Client ID and Secret Key

In order to activate integration between Scania and our platform, you must first obtain the Client ID and Secret Key from Scania Developer Portal:

  1. Log into developer.scania.com with a user that has the role “Developer”.
    ​

  2. Once in their platform, go to the section MY CLIENTS.
    ​

  3. Click Create Client on the right side of the page.

  4. Enter a Name and Description, then click Save to create a client.

    📘 Actual content of these fields will not impact the integration. They are mainly used to understand what is the purpose of each created client, as developer.scania.com supports creating many of these clients.

  5. Once it is created, copy the Client ID and Secret Key.
    ​

Activate integration

After obtaining the Client ID and Secret Key:

  1. Go to our platform and then go to Settings ➔ Integrations.
    ​

  2. Click on the 'Scania Integration'.
    ​

  3. Click on 'Activate Integration'.
    ​

  4. Paste the Client ID and Secret key.
    ​

  5. Click Activate.

This will establish the connection and you can start retrieving files.
