Learn how to create Sogn-off to track performance data provided directly from the workforce

Create Sign-off

1. Click “Sign-offs” under "Guides" in the main menu of the platform

2. Click "+" on the right side corner to create a new Sign-off

All Sign-offs created by anyone in your organization are visible to this page.

3. Choose on a Sign-off template

You can scroll down & click on the field “start without a template” to create a Sign-off from scratch.

4. Click the preview button on the right corner to see how the Sign-off would look like as end-user.

Click on the same button to return to the Edit mode.

5. Click “NEXT” once you chose the template you want to use to create a Sign-off

6. Enter a name for this Sign-off to easily find it once you applied it on your Guides & Instructions and while searching for its results

All Sign-offs created by anyone in your organization are going to be visible and available for you to use on your Guides and Instructions. Choose a name representative for your Team and its way of working.

7. Edit the main question and/or add a follow-up question if needed

8. Click "SAVE"

This will save it as draft, hence you can always come back and edit it until you decide it is ready to be activated and applied on Guides & Instructions.

Edit & activate a Sign-off

Note: Once activated, the Sign-off can’t be edited anymore since it is one step away from being used by end-users to record data on the shop floor, which requires a fixed format.

1. Search for the Sign-off you want to set up

2. Click the 3 dots menu of the Sign-off & then click “Edit” to make changes related to the question, answer type or the follow-up question

3. Click the 3 dots menu & then choose “Settings” to set up the frequency of showing this Sign-off on Instructions

4. Choose how often this Sign-off should be shown on all Instructions it will applied to

This setting will apply to all of the Guides where this specific Sign-off will be applied to.

5. Click “SAVE

The Sign-off creation is now completed and ready to be activated.

6. Click “ACTIVATE” to finalize the creation & allow the Sign-Off to be applied on Guides

Apply Sign-off on one or multiple instructions

Note: You can only have 1 Sign-off applied per Instruction. A warning screen will let you know that a Sign-off has been applied already.

Apply 1 Sign-Off to all Instructions at once

1. Go to an existing guide and click on the Guide menu

2. Click “Apply sign-off

3. Select the Sign-Off you want to apply to this Guide

4. Click “Preview” on the selected Sign-Off to check the question & see how it looks like

5. Click “APPLY” to make the Sign-Off visible on all Instructions in this Guide

Note: You can always change the visibility of Sign-Offs on each Instruction when you don’t want a Sign-Off to be visible on a specific Instruction or when you want a different Sign-Off to appear on an Instruction.

Apply 1 Sign-Off to a specific Instruction

  1. Go to an existing Guide

2. Click on the 3 dots menu on one of your Instruction

3. Click “Apply sign-off

4. Select which Sign-Off you want to make visible on this specific Instruction

Note: You can preview the Sign-Off to make sure it has the right question for this use-case.

5. Click “APPLY” to make it visible for end-users

The Sign-Off has now been set for this Instruction.
