Preparation
Important!: Good preparation is essential to guarantee a smooth setup. Make sure you are well-prepared:
Facebook login data with admin rights to your Meta Business account
❗️It must not be blocked (here you can see if there are any restrictions on your META Business account)
Superchat login data
Phone number that is not yet connected to WhatsApp. If you have an existing account, you can find instructions on how to delete it here, or if you want to change the number within your WhatsApp account, you can find the link here.

Connect your WhatsApp Number to Superchat
Navigate to your mailbox via the settings and select WhatsApp Business API.
Confirm, that you can receive an authentication call to your chosen number, and that you have admin rights to your Facebook-Account.
Click Log in to Facebook.
Log in with your Facebook access data in the pop-up (unrestricted admin rights are required!).
Click Next.
Choose your existing META business account, or create a new one.
❗️Make sure the information matches those on your website
Click on add address and also enter the optional information
Click next to create a new WhatsApp Business account.
Enter the name, display name, time zone and category and then press Next.
❗️The display name is shown to the customer on WhatsApp, please pay attention to the spelling!
Enter the phone number to be connected in WhatsApp and select Call.
❗️Important! You must not have a tape announcement set, otherwise you will not be able to receive the call
Enter the 6-digit verification code and press Next.
Now click on Finish.
You have now completed the basic setup. To make full use of Superchat, you need to set up WhatsApp templates. We explain this in the following article:

Connecting further numbers
You can easily add further numbers by clicking on "Add communication channel" and then go through the set-up once more.
Make sure to create a new Whatsapp account.
Keep in mind that you must be verified in your Business manager/ portfolio to add more than two numbers.
